Bisphosphonates for treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome type 1: A systematic literature review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials versus placebo.
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 1 is a severely disabling pain syndrome with no definite established treatment. We have performed a systematic literature review and meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials to assess the benefit of bisphosphonates on pain and function in patients with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 1. ⋯ Our results suggest that bisphosphonates reduce pain in patients with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome type 1. Other studies are needed to determine their effectiveness.

Intra-articular injections in thumb osteoarthritis: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The objective was to assess the efficacy of intra-articular injections of corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid in thumb osteoarthritis. ⋯ This meta-analysis shows great heterogeneity. Hyaluronic acid may be useful to increase functional capacity and corticosteroids to decrease pain in thumb osteoarthritis at week 24.

To develop French recommendations about the clinical and laboratory follow-up of patients with axial ankylosing spondylitis (AS) seen in everyday practice. ⋯ Recommendations about the clinical and laboratory follow-up of patients with AS were developed. They can be expected to improve clinical practice uniformity and, in the longer term, to optimize the management of patients with AS.

To develop recommendations about pharmacotherapy (excluding biotherapeutic agents) in patients with axial forms of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) seen in everyday clinical practice. ⋯ Seven recommendations about pharmacotherapy in patients with AS were developed. They can be expected to improve clinical practice uniformity and, in the longer term, to optimize the management of patients with AS in France.
