Telemedicine can provide patients with cost-effective, quality care. The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has highlighted the need for alternative methods of delivering health care. Family physicians can benefit from using a standardized approach to evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal issues via telemedicine visits. ⋯ Patients with a possible deformity or neurovascular compromise should be referred for urgent evaluation. Follow-up can be done virtually if the patient's condition is improving as expected. If the condition is worsening or not improving, the patient should have an in-office assessment, with consideration for referral to formal physical therapy or specialty services when appropriate.

Epidemiology and risk stratification of minor head injuries in school-going children.
Head injuries occur commonly in children and can lead to concussion injuries. We aim to describe the epidemiology of head injuries among school-going children and identify predictors of brain concussions in Singapore. ⋯ This study provides a detailed description of the pattern of head injuries among school-going children in Singapore. High risk patients may require closer monitoring to detect post-concussion syndrome early.

Pre-treatment Delta Neutrophil Index as a Predictive Factor in Renal Cell Carcinoma.
To determine the diagnostic value of the pre-treatment delta neutrophil index (DNI) before treatment in patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and to compare this marker with other routine inflammation markers, such as neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR). ⋯ DNI is a new inflammatory marker, which is included in complete blood count parameters; and does not require any additional calculation, unlike NLR and PLR. It can be used in the prediction of RCC. Key Words: Renal cell carcinoma, Delta neutrophil index, Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio, Platelet-lymphocyte ratio.

Case ReportsAcute Hepatitis-A Virus Infection as a Rare Cause of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis.
Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a rare disorder of the mononuclear phagocytic system, characterised by histiocyte and lymphocyte activation. It can be classified as primary and secondary HLH. ⋯ We describe a case of HLH secondary to acute hepatitis-A virus infection, which was characterised by persistent fever, pancytopenia, splenomegaly, hyperferritinemia, and hemophagocytosis observed in the bone marrow. Key Words: Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, Hepatitis-A, Mononuclear phagocytes.
