Intramedullary Nail Fixation Assisted by Orthopaedic Robot Navigation for Intertrochanteric Fractures in Elderly Patients.
To compare the clinical efficacy of intramedullary nail fixation for intertrochanteric fractures assisted by orthopaedic robot navigation and the traditional intramedullary nail fixation in elderly patients, and to investigate the application advantages of intramedullary nail fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fractures assisted by orthopaedic robot navigation in the elderly. ⋯ Intramedullary nail fixation for intertrochanteric fractures assisted by orthopaedic robot navigation in elderly patients is an ideal method, offering a short operation time, minimal surgical trauma, less radiation, and good recovery of hip function.

Efficacy of Jintiange Capsules in the Treatment of Osteoporosis: A Network Meta-analysis.
To evaluate the efficacy of Jintiange capsules and Jintiange combined with other therapies in the treatment of osteoporosis. ⋯ Jintiange capsules alone and combined with other therapies is a good choice for treating patients with osteoporosis in terms of improving BMD, relieving pain, and reducing adverse events. More large-scale and well-designed RCT are warranted to confirm the results of this study.

Robot-assisted Percutaneous Transfacet Screw Fixation Supplementing Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion Procedure: Accuracy and Safety Evaluation of This Novel Minimally Invasive Technique.
Percutaneous transfacet screw fixation (pTSF) is a minimally invasive posterior fixation technique supplementing oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF) for lumbar spinal disorders. Accurate screw insertion is difficult to achieve and technically demanding under 2-D fluoroscopy. Recently developed robot-assisted spinal surgery demonstrated a high level of accuracy of pedicle screw insertion and a low complication rate. No published study has reported this combination technique. The aim of our study was to evaluate the accuracy and safety properties of the combination of both minimally invasive techniques: robot-assisted pTSF supplementing the OLIF procedure. ⋯ Our preliminary study of robot-assisted pTSF supplementing the OLIF procedure showed a high level of accuracy for screw insertion and this minimally invasive combination technique was found to be a feasible and safe procedure.

Robot-assisted Minimally-invasive Internal Fixation of Pelvic Ring Injuries: A Single-center Experience.
To investigate the indications, surgical strategy and techniques, safety, and efficacy of robot-assisted minimally-invasive internal fixation of pelvic ring injuries. ⋯ Robot-assisted surgery is accurate and minimally invasive, with a high success rate for one-time screw placement and satisfactory clinical results. The indications and surgical strategy should be rigorously selected, the level of surgical techniques mastered, and the operating procedures standardized, all of which may help to prevent surgical complications. Robot-assisted surgery provides a novel modality for the minimally-invasive treatment of pelvic ring injuries.

V-Y Tendon Plasty for Reconstruction of Chronic Achilles Tendon Rupture: A Medium-term and Long-term Follow-up.
To evaluate the surgical results of V-Y tendon plasty in the treatment of chronic Achilles tendon rupture during medium and long-term follow-up. ⋯ V-Y tendon plasty can be used in most cases of chronic Achilles tendon rupture. It yields satisfactory functional results and low complication rates. The advantage of this procedure is that it is an easy and economic method without the need for expensive synthetic implants. V-Y tendon plasty should be considered an acceptable first-choice treatment.
