Chronic noncancer pain is a global public health challenge. It is imperative to identify biological markers ("biomarkers") to understand the mechanisms underlying chronic pain and to monitor pain over time and after interventions. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a promising method for this purpose. ⋯ TMS could be a useful tool for delineating the neurophysiological underpinnings of chronic pain syndromes.

Sonographic imaging features of alveolar soft part sarcoma: Case series and literature review.
Alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) is a rare tumor but potentially fatal condition. Understanding the imaging and clinical features of ASPS is of certain value for preoperative qualitative diagnosis and clinical treatment of tumors. Nevertheless, there have been only 11 documented case reports describing the sonographic features in the English literature. ⋯ Its low incidence rate and lack of characteristic clinical manifestations often result in misdiagnosis of ASPS. The specific sonographic findings may add useful diagnostic information.

Aggressive angiomyxoma of pelvis: A case report and literature review.
Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is a rare mesenchymal tumor primarily involving the lower genital tract of reproductive females. It often shares pathologic morphology with other mesenchymal lesions, which result in diagnostic difficulties for pathologists. ⋯ When the pathological morphology of AAM overlaps with other mesenchymal lesions, the comprehensive understanding of tumor clinicopathological characteristics combined with imaging features is important for the accurate diagnosis of AAM.

A case report of small cell ovarian neuroendocrine carcinoma combined with immunochemotherapy.
Small cell ovarian neuroendocrine (NE) carcinoma is a rare NE tumor with a low incidence, poor prognosis, and no standardized treatment. To date, there have been no clear reports on the efficacy or prognosis of combined immunological and chemotherapy-based approaches in patients with this type of tumor. ⋯ Our studies indicate that tirelizumab combined with EP, may be an effective treatment for small cell ovarian NE carcinoma.

Bioinformatics methods were used to identify the key genes associated with the immune microenvironment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to construct an immune risk prognostic model (IRPM) and to study the correlation between IRPM's risk groups and immune characteristics of patients with HCC. ⋯ The study results may serve as a reference for improving prognosis, early screening, and immunotherapy in patients with HCC.
