Relative importance of physical and social aspects of perceived neighbourhood environment for self-reported health.
To explore the relative importance of the perceived physical and social neighbourhood environment for physical and mental health. ⋯ Perceived physical and social environmental characteristics were important for physical and mental health, independent of socio-demographic factors. Living in neighbourhoods with greater land use diversity appears particularly important for physical health, whereas social support appears more closely linked to mental health.

The contribution of active play to the physical activity of primary school children.
To examine associations between active play and the physical activity of 10- to 11-year-old children. ⋯ Active play is associated with children's physical activity with after-school potentially being a critical period. Strategies to promote active play may prove to be a successful means of increasing children's physical activity.

To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of a 3-month minimal physical activity (PA) intervention in adolescents. ⋯ Although the process evaluation suggests that a substantial proportion of the participants did not regularly wear the PAM and did not upload information to the PAM COACH website, our findings suggest promising intervention effects on MPA among girls and sedentary time among boys.
