Clinical Analysis of Primary Nephrotic Syndrome Complicated by Plastic Bronchitis in Children.
To summarize the clinical features of primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS) complicated by plastic bronchitis (PB) in children to provide guidance for treatment.

Association of CEP72 rs924607 TT Genotype with Vincristine-induced Peripheral Neuropathy Measured by Motor Nerve Conduction Studies.
Vincristine is at the core of many treatment protocols for childhood malignancies. The major dose-limiting side effect is vincristine-induced peripheral neuropathy (VIPN) which may cause morbidity and disrupt curative treatment. Several studies have tried to identify pharmacogenetic biomarkers for susceptibility to vincristine-induced toxicity (Egbelakin A et al., Pediatr Blood Cancer 2011; 56: 361-367. ⋯ Furthermore, some studies are questioning the validity of currently available neuropathy grading scales (Postma TJ et al., Ann Oncol 1998; 9: 739-744). Our group recently showed that electrophysiological studies can be used with great accuracy for early detection of VIPN (Kavcic M et al., J Pediatr Hematol Oncol 2017; 39: 266-271). In the previous study, we found that VIPN presents with primary axonal involvement and is more pronounced on motor neurons (Kavcic M et al., J Pediatr Hematol Oncol 2017; 39: 266-271).

Screening for Third-Generation Cephalosporin-Resistant Bacteria Reduces the Incidence on Late-Onset Sepsis and Antibiotic use in Neonates.
The extensive use of antibiotics is reflected by an increasing prevalence of infections with multidrug-resistant bacteria, including third-generation cephalosporin-resistant bacteria (3GCRB). For neonatal intensive care units screening and enhanced barrier precautions are recommended to control the spread of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, while evidence for efficacy of barrier precautions remains scarce in a non-outbreak setting.

Case ReportsCo-infection of SARS CoV-2 and influenza A in a Pediatric Patient in Germany.
In December 2019 a novel coronavirus was firstly encountered in Wuhan/China with a massive outbreak of fatal pneumonia leading to a pandemic declared by the World Health Organization in March 2020 (WHO Dashboard COVID-19. [WHO web site]. Available from: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019), affecting mainly elderly adults with underlying co-morbidities. ⋯ The Lancet Respiratory medicine 2020;27;S2213-2600(20) 30152-1). We describe a 4 month old infant with co-infection of SARS CoV-2 and influenza A virus.
