In this study, we aimed to investigate the secular trends in carbohydrate, fat, and protein intakes in South Koreans from 2010 to 2020. ⋯ In the past 10 y, the dietary patterns in Korea have shifted toward the consumption of high-fat and high-protein diets with reduced carbohydrate intake.

This study aimed to explore factors associated with skeletal muscle radiodensity (SMD) variability in patients with metastatic cancer. ⋯ In this group of patients with metastatic cancer, lower SMD was associated with older age, White race/skin color, and an overall worse clinical condition.

This study is an assessment of home parenteral nutrition service performance and safety and efficacy outcomes in patients with benign chronic intestinal failure. ⋯ This study confirms the importance of setting up and maintaining structured registries to monitor and improve home parenteral nutrition care. Safety outcomes have improved over the years, most likely due to the underlying efficient nursing service.

We aimed to screen for the risk of sarcopenia and sarcopenia-related quality of life and associated factors of people living with HIV (PLWH). ⋯ We verified that only 5.9% and 17.3% of PLWH are at risk of sarcopenia and presented lower sarcopenia-related quality of life, respectively. Only the gastrointestinal symptoms were associated with a risk of sarcopenia and lower sarcopenia-related quality of life, without significant differences between age groups.
