Meta AnalysisTime course of 75%-100% efficacy response of adjunctive brivaracetam.
Time to sustained seizure frequency reduction can provide clinically meaningful epilepsy outcomes. ⋯ The majority of patients achieving 75%-100% sustained seizure frequency reduction (all focal seizure types and the subpopulation with FBTCS) with oral BRV (100 or 200 mg/d) achieved this response on the first-treatment day.

EEG patterns associated with present cortical SSEP after cardiac arrest.
After cardiac arrest (CA), present cortical somatosensory evoked potentials (N20 response of SSEPs) have low predictive value for good outcome and might be redundant with EEG. ⋯ Global EEG ("benign") assessment, rather than single EEG features, can reliably predict cortical SSEP occurrence. SSEP adjunction does not increase EEG prognostic performance toward good outcome. SSEP could therefore be omitted in patients with "benign EEG."
