Diagnostic Value of Serum Gastrin and Epidermal Growth Factor to the Gastric Ulcer Complicated with Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage.
To explore the predictive value of serum gastrin (GAS), epidermal growth factor (EGF) levels in gastric ulcer complicated with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding. ⋯ The predictive value of serum GAS and EGF is high for gastric ulcer complicated with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding; the predictive value of serum EGF is greater than that of serum GAS. Key Words: Gastric ulcer, Acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding, Serum, Gastrin (GAS), Epidermal growth factor (EGF), Logistic regression, Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.

Meta AnalysisMeta-analysis of the Value of Cardiac Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in the Diagnosis of Viral Myocarditis.
To evaluate the diagnostic value of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in viral myocarditis by meta-analysis. PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI, China) Wanfang Databases were searched for clinical research literature on MRI diagnosis of viral myocarditis from the establishment of the database to March 1, 2020. The pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio, diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) and the summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) were analysed by Stata 15.0. ⋯ Existing research have confirmed that cardiac MRI has high sensitivity (94%) and moderate specificity (75%) for viral myocarditis. The positive ratio of test in myocarditis group is 45.24 times higher than that in non-myocarditis group indicating the outstanding effect of diagnosis and discrimination. Key Words: Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, Viral myocarditis, Systematic review, Meta-analysis.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of Point-of-care Ultrasonography on the Diagnostic Process of Patients Admitted to the Emergency Department with Chest Pain: A Randomised Controlled Trial.
To evaluate the effect of point of care ultrasonography (POCUS) performed for heart, lung, aorta, hepatobiliary and deep veins on the diagnosis, length of stay (LOS) in emergency department (ED) and cost in patients admitted to the ED with chest pain. ⋯ POCUS is a repeatable, practical imaging method which does not require radiation, reduces LOS in the ED statistically significant. However, further studies are needed to determine its usefulness in the ED. Key Words: Chest pain, Cost, Emergency medicine, Length of stay, Point of care ultrasound.

A Comparison of Complications and Success Rates after PCNL in Younger and Elderly Patients.
To compare the outcomes of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) across younger and elderly, especially PCNL complications in terms of modified Clavian grading system. ⋯ Despite old age, the success rates and complications were not remarkably different from that of the younger subjects for prone PCNL. Key Words: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, Geriatrics, Renal stone, Complications.

Relationship between Abdominal Aortic Calcification, Abdominal Adiposity, and Liver Density.
To identify any relationship among visceral adipose tissue area (visceral FA), liver density (liver HU), psoas muscle area (psoas MA), waist circumference (WC) and the presence and severity of abdominal aortic calcific atherosclerosis (AAC). ⋯ Psoas muscle area, visceral adiposity and waist circumference can be used to predict abdominal aortic calcification. Key Words: Visceral adipose tissue, Subcutaneous adipose tissue, Fatty liver.
