Comparison of Low Molecular Weight Heparin Used alone or Combined with Aspirin in the Treatment of Fetal Growth Restriction.
The objective of the study was to compare the efficacy of low-molecular weight heparin (LMWH) alone and use in the combination with aspirin in the treatment of fetal growth restriction (FGR) patients. Ninety-six FGR patients were divided into the LMWH group (n=48) and the combined group (n=48), according to the different treatments. ⋯ Combination of LMWH with aspirin in FGR patients effectively reduced levels of IL-6 and TNF-α within the mother, improved fetal developmental parameters, and reduced the frequency of pregnancy complications and adverse neonatal outcomes compared with LMWH treatment alone. Key Words: Fetal growth restriction (FGR), Low-molecular weight heparin (LMWH), Aspirin, Pregnancy, Newborn.

Case ReportsEpithelioid Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Sarcoma with Leukemoid Reaction.
Epithelioid inflammatory myofibroblastic sarcoma (EIMS) is a rare and aggressive inflammatory myofibroblastic tumour (IMT) variant. This report identifies the first case of EIMS with leukemoid reaction. This is also the first case in which pancreatic infiltration occurred from the disease onset. ⋯ There is no consensus on the treatment of EIMS. Since ALK rearrangement presents in all the EIMS cases, surgical resection combined with crizotinib or other targeted drugs may improve the prognosis. Key Words: Sarcoma, Soft tissue neoplasms, Leukemoid reaction, Crizotinib.

Case ReportsHearing Loss After the First Low Dose Administration of Cisplatin.
Cisplatin is commonly used antineoplastic drug that is effective against different types of tumours. Nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, and ototoxicity constitute the main dose-limiting side effects of the drug. ⋯ Cisplatin-induced hearing impairment is generally dose-related and cumulative; however, the toxicity can occur after the first dose without a cumulative high-dose and can be irreversible. Key Words: Cisplatin, Hearing Loss, Ototoxicity.

Meta AnalysisEffects of Low-intensity Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy on Erectile Dysfunction: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
This present systemic review and meta-analysis was conducted to assess the effectiveness of low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) on erectile dysfunction (ED) based on the relevant randomised controlled trials (RCTs). A comprehensive search of databases, including Medline and Embase databases, from 1st January 2012 to 31st July 2020, that investigated the efficacy of Li-ESWT for ED, was searched. All the trials were divided into two groups: the experimental group received a different shockwave treatment, and the control group received the same treatment as the corresponding experimental group vibration, sound, etc) but no energy transmission. ⋯ Compared with placebo treatment, Li-ESWT alleviates ED symptoms in patients, particularly those who have mild or moderate ED. Taken together, these results suggest that the Li-ESWT may hold promise for patients with ED. Key Words: Erectile dysfunction, Low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy, Meta-analysis, Randomised controlled trials.
