Gastrointestinal Bleeding Risk Factors in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
To investigate the factors leading to the development of gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) by comparing patients with diabetes mellitus Type 2 (T2DM) with dyspeptic complaints without GIB; and patients with T2DM who had GIB, regardless of the presence of helicobacter pylori. ⋯ Age, and poly medications were associated with increased frequency of GIB. The use of ASA, when not administered with other agents that may induce GIB, does not increase the risk of developing GIB in obese T2DM patients younger than 65 years of age, who have increased HbA1c levels. Key Words: Type 2 diabetes mellitus, Dyspepsia, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Acetylsalicylic acid, Risk factors, Obesity, Medication.

Comparison of Isocaloric and Hypercaloric Diet in Undernourished Patients.
To determine efficacies of fiber-containing isocaloric and hypercaloric enteral supplements generally used to treat undernutrition. ⋯ Both isocaloric and hypercaloric supplementation had positive effects on anthropometry and blood biochemistry. These results show that both formulae are highly beneficial for children with primary undernutrition. Key Words: Pediatrics, Body mass index, Therapeutics, Gastroenterology, Undernutrition.

Observational StudyHigh-dose Chemotherapy Response in Adults with Relapsed/Refractory Small Round Cell Tumours.
To demonstrate the treatment responses, survival analysis, and treatment-related mortality characteristics of high-dose chemotherapy (HDC) in patients with relapsed/refractory Ewing sarcoma (ES), osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) and medulloblastoma (MB). ⋯ HD-ICE treatment may be an option in relapsed/refractory small round cell tumours (SRCT). Significant progression-free survival can be achieved in patients who received at least two lines of treatment, with acceptable treatment-related mortality. Key Words: Small round cell tumours, Ewing sarcoma, Osteosarcoma, Rhabdomyosarcoma, Medulloblastoma, High-dose chemotherapy, Autologous stem cell transplantation.

Hormonal Changes in Clomiphene Citrate Cycles in Unexplained Infertility Can Predict Follicle Development?
To examine the intra-cycle and inter-cycle hormonal changes in the clomiphene citrate (CC) cycle in women with unexplained infertility; and to determine the factors that may predict follicle development or CC failure. ⋯ Basal serum FSH, P4 and DHEA‑S levels can be used as predictors of ovulation in CC cycles in women with unexplained infertility by determining a threshold value with more comprehensive studies to be conducted in the future. Key Words: Androgens, Ovarian stimulation, Clomiphene citrate, Unexplained infertility, Induction of ovulation, Prediction.
