Impact of Muscle Mass Depletion on Surgical Outcomes in Patients with Primary High-grade Serous Ovarian Cancer Undergoing CRS and HIPEC.
To investigate the effect of sarcopenia on surgical outcomes in patients with primary high-grade serous ovarian cancer undergoing cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS and HIPEC). ⋯ Sarcopenia can easily be diagnosed without additional cost or radiation exposure with routine preoperative staging CT images. Identification of sarcopenic ovarian cancer patients in preoperative period may affect patient selection, predictability of possible serious complications, elective operation preparation process with a combination of nutrition and exercise therapy, thus postoperative complication rates may be reduced and short-term results may be improved. Key Words: Cytoreductive surgery, Ovarian cancer, Sarcopenia.

Long-term Functional Difference between the First and Second Knees in Simultaneous Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty.
To compare the long-term functional results of the first and second knees in simultaneous bilateral total knee arthroplasty. ⋯ The functional scores of the first and the second operated knees in SBTKA were similar in the long term. Although no correlation was found between age and the functional scores, these results complied with the previous information about the effect of age on TKA results. Key Words: Simultaneous total knee arthroplasty, Bilateral, Clinical outcome, Osteoarthritis.
