Randomized Controlled TrialPost-hysteroscopy Duration of the Cook Balloon Uterine Stent Effect on the Re-adhesion Formation.
To compare duration of Cook balloon uterine stent on re-adhesions formation, and observe its effect on serum transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) levels in patients with intrauterine adhesions (IUA) undergoing hysteroscopic transcervical resection of adhesion (TCRA). ⋯ Placement of Cook balloon uterine stent for 37 days after hysteroscopic TCRA in patients with IUA can effectively prevent postoperative intrauterine re-adhesion, have few complications, low recurrence rate of IUA and high re-pregnancy rate, and reduce levels of serum TGF-β1 and PAI-1. Key Words: Intrauterine adhesions (IUA), Transcervical resection of adhesion (TCRA), Transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1), Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), Pregnancy.

Observational StudyEffect of Temperature and Preservative on Neo-ethanol Formation in Postmortem Whole Blood Samples.
To determine the association of temperature, time duration, and preservatives with ethanol neo-genesis in postmortem whole blood samples. ⋯ Sodium fluoride (NaF) should be used as preservative to avoid ethanol neo-genesis during storage and transportation of blood samples for alcohol analysis. Cold chain maintenance is of pivotal importance to exclude false positive blood alcohol results. Key Words: Neo-ethanol, Neo-genesis, Ethylenediaminetetra acetic acid (EDTA), Sodium fluoride (NaF).

Is Access Sheath Essential for Safety and Effective Retrograde Intrarenal Stone Surgery?
To evaluate the results of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) with flexible ureteroscope (f-URS), using ureteral access sheath and without the sheath. ⋯ UAS usage has no marked impact on SFR, complication rate and operation time. RIRS can be performed safely and effectively without using UAS. Key Words: Flexible ureteroscope, ITO score, Ureteral access sheath, Intrarenal stones.

Mindfulness in the Emergency Department (MED): An Asynchronous Learning Course to Practise Mindfulness and Resilience in the Emergency Room of Low Resource Setting.
Owing to the fast-paced, stressful, and frequent crucial rapid decisions that trigger cognitive exhaustion, emergency physicians are especially vulnerable to burnout. Mindfulness practices have been defined in the literature and it focuses on the well-being and resilience. ⋯ It would concentrate on the foundations of mindfulness and resilience, learning and incorporating mindfulness, understanding the coping mechanisms and establishing a pathway to minimise anxiety and depression. Key Words: Mindfulness, Resilience, Burnout, Emergency medicine, Emergency department, Wellness.

Outcomes of Transurethral Resection of Prostate in Patients with and without Renal Failure Secondary to an Enlarged Prostate.
The natural history of benign enlargement of the prostate is variable and ranges from mild symptoms to chronic retention and renal failure. In this study, the outcomes of patients with urinary retention alone were compared with those of chronic retention and renal failure caused by an enlarged prostate. The first group had 79, while the second group had 20 patients included. ⋯ However, the residual symptoms after surgery were higher in the chronic retention group. It was concluded that patients, with chronic retention experience and higher postoperative residual storage symptoms, after transurethral resection of the prostate, are able to void without a catheter and their renal functions were stabilised. Key Words: Transurethral resection of the prostate, Prostatic hyperplasia, Renal insufficiency, Urinary bladder neck obstruction.
