[Roles of peroxiredoxin 6 in the regulation of oxidative stress to lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury].
To investigate the roles of peroxiredoxin (Prdx) 6 in the regulation of oxidative stress to lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in mice. ⋯ Deletion of peroxiredoxin 6 exaggerated LPS-induced acute lung injury with increased oxidative stress.

Review Case Reports[Tracheobronchomegaly: a report of 3 cases and literature review].
To analyze the clinical, radiological, and pathological characteristics of tracheobronchomegaly (TBM, Mounier-Kuhn syndrome). ⋯ Mounier-Kunh syndrome should be suspected in patient with recurrent respiratory infections and chronic sputum production. A careful analysis of the central airways at the chest radiograph of these patients is required.

[The values of fractional exhaled nitric oxide in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough].
To evaluate the values of fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FENO) in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough. ⋯ FENO could be used as a inflammation marker of chronic cough because of its good correlation with sputum eosinophils, AHR, atopy, and cough symptoms. FENO also has a potential to predict the response of anti-inflammatory therapy because FENO decrease is correlated with the decrease of eosinophilic inflammation and improvement of cough symptoms.

[Therapeutic efficacy analysis of bronchoscopic interventional therapy on severe tuberculous main bronchial stenosis complicated with unilateral atelectasis].
To observe the therapeutic efficacy of bronchoscopic interventional therapy on severe tuberculous main bronchial stenosis or atresia complicated with unilateral atelectasis. ⋯ Electrocautery, balloon dilatation, cryotherapy and stent implantation were effective methods to treat severe tuberculous main bronchial stenosis or atresia complicated with unilateral atelectasis. Among them, the therapeutic efficacy was better and the symptoms improved more quickly in patients with stent implantation. The efficacy of stent implantation was better than that of conventional interventional therapy, but the incidence of restenosis was also higher. Following-up should be emphasized in this group of patients. Disease courses were associated with the therapeutic efficacy; longer disease course was related to worse therapeutic efficacy, and restenosis occurred earlier. So interventional therapy should be initiated earlier for bronchial tuberculosis with dyspnea, especially for that complicated by atelectasis.

[Effects of neurally adjusted ventilatory assist on prevention of ventilator-induced diaphragmatic dysfunction in acute respiratory distress syndrome rabbits].
To evaluate the effect of neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA) on prevention of ventilator-induced diaphragmatic dysfunction (VIDD) in ARDS rabbits. ⋯ Compared with volume control ventilation, NAVA may mitigate diaphragmatic oxidative stress, atrophy and injury, and prevent VIDD better than VC.
