Randomized Controlled Trial Clinical Trial[Application of combined epidural-spinal anesthesia in pediatric surgery and postoperative analgesia].
To compare the anesthetic and analgesic efficacy of ropivacaine and bupivacaine and their side reactions in combined spinal-epidural anesthesia (CSEA) and postoperative analgesia in pediatric surgery. ⋯ Either ropivacaine or bupivacaine can be satisfactorily used in CSEA for analgesia during and after operation. However, ropivacaine has a weaker motor block than bupivacaine, which benefits early walking after operation and recovery of bowl movement.

[Target-controlled infusions of remifentanil and propofol during laparoscopic cholecystectomy].
To evaluate the clinical profile of target-controlled infusion-based anesthesia using remifentanil and propofol. ⋯ Remifentanil/propofol TCI-based anesthesia achieved the optimal hemodynamic stability during anesthesia induction and maintenance, and better recovery profile from anesthesia. Measured drug values of remifentanil showed a considerable interindividual variation and more lower than the set target.

[Electroacupuncture of 2 Hz induces long-term depression of synaptic transmission in the spinal dorsal horn in rats with neuropathic pain].
To observe the effect of 2 Hz electroacupuncture (EA) on long-term depression (LTD) of synaptic transmission in the spinal dorsal horn in rats with neuropathic pain, so as to explore the central mechanisms of the antinociceptive effects of 2 Hz electroacupuncture on neuropathic pain. ⋯ EA of 2 Hz could induce long-term depression of the nociceptive synaptic transmission in the spinal dorsal horn in rats with neuropathic pain. This kind of 2 Hz EA-suppression on LTD was NMDA receptor-dependent and the endogenous opioid system may be involved in it. These data indicate that the NMDA receptor-dependent LTD at the nociceptive sensory synapses in the spinal dorsal horn in rats with neuropathic pain induced by activating the endogenous opioid system may play the primary role in the antinociceptive effects of 2 Hz EA on neuropathic pain.

[Influence of inhaled nitric oxide on surfactant in the total cardiopulmonary bypass pig model].
To study whether or not inhaled nitric oxide (INO) can improve surfactant production and pulmonary mechanics after CPB in pigs, and to seek the mechanism of lung injury during mechanical ventilation. ⋯ INO exposure exerted time-related effects on the lung surfactant (LA). Initially, INO resulted in short-term increase of surfactant production at T0. However, with time passing by, INO exposure following CPB did not prevent long-term decrease of lung surfactant and lung compliance although INO was beneficial for pulmonary hemodynamics and oxygenation. In summary, despite the use of INO, synergetic effects of long-term hyperoxia, mechanical ventilation and inflammation following CPB may exacerbate pulmonary mechanics and result in surfactant dysfunction.

[Therapeutic effect of dexamethasone and mannitol on global brain ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats].
To determine the effect of dexamethasone and mannitol on reperfusion injury after global brain ischemia in rats. ⋯ Dexamethasone aggravates brain ischemic-reperfusion injury, mannitol is effective for reducing brain ischemia-reperfusion injury, and application of the combined agents is the most effective treatment.
