Effects of intrathecal 6-hydroxydopamine, alpha1 and alpha2 adrenergic receptor antagonists on antinociception of propofol in mice.
To investigate the relationship between spinal cord norepinephrine, alpha1 and alpha2 adrenergic receptors and antinociception of propofol in mice. ⋯ The spinal cord is a target of propofol antinociception. In mice propofol antinociception is partly mediated by spinal norepinephrine, alpha1R and alpha2R.

GABAA receptor partially mediated propofol-induced hyperalgesia at superspinal level and analgesia at spinal cord level in rats.
To observe effects of propofol on nociceptive response at superspinal and spinal level in rats. ⋯ GABAA receptor partly mediated propofol-induced hyperalgesia at superspinal and analgesia at spinal cord in rats.

Effects of ulinastatin on renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.
To investigate the effect and possible mechanism of ulinastatin on renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. ⋯ The protease inhibitor, ulinastatin, reduced the renal dysfunction and injury associated with ischemia-reperfusion of the kidney. The protective effect of ulinastatin might be associated with the up-regulation of Bcl-2 expression and the effect on membrane fragility.

Anti-adjuvant arthritis of recombinant human endostatin in rats via inhibition of angiogenesis and proinflammatory factors.
To investigate the profile of endostatin on adjuvant arthritis (AA) and angiogenesis blockade in synovitis. ⋯ The recombinant human endostatin had an inhibitory effect on rat AA, which was related to its anti-angiogenesis and inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines.

Polymorphism of Prodynorphin promoter is associated with schizophrenia in Chinese population.
To investigate the correlation between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of functional candidate gene Prodynorphin (PDYN) and schizophrenia. ⋯ PDYN-946C>G polymorphism demonstrated an association with population susceptibility to schizophrenia.
