The phrenic nerve stimulation (PNS) is a rare complication after pacemaker setting. We report a case report that describes this complication and how it can be resolved. ⋯ PNS could be challenging to diagnose for those not familiar with cardiac devices technology but easy to manage with noninvasive methods.

GINS subunits, a protein complex composed of GINS1, GINS2, GINS3 and GINS4 in the human genome and the expression level of each GINS subunits plays an important role in different human cancers. As one of the most common malignancies after lung cancer in the world, precise biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment in breast cancer are important. The purpose of our study was to elucidate the expression and prognostic value of GINS subunits in breast cancer. ⋯ We systemically analyzed the expression, prognostic, clinicopathologic values, and potential functional networks of GINS subunits in breast cancer. Our findings showed that individual GINS subunits could be new potential prognostic biomarkers for breast cancer. However, further verification studies are still needed to prove the clinical value of GINS subunits in breast cancer patients.

The prognostic value of IL-8 for the death of severe or critical patients with COVID-19.
Inflammation has been believed to contribute to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Risk factors for death of COVID-19 pneumonia have not yet been well established. In this retrospective cohort study, we included the deceased patients in COVID-19 specialized ICU with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 from Guanggu hospital area of Tongji Hospital from February 8th to March 30th. ⋯ In the Spearman rank correlation analysis, IL-8 was found to be significantly associated with the time from onset to death (rs= -0.30, P = .034) and that from admission to death (rs= -0.32, P = .019). Cox regression showed after adjusting age and sex, IL-8 levels were still significantly associated with the time from onset to death (P = .003) and that from admission to death (P = .01). IL-8 levels were associated with in-hospital death in severe/critical COVID-19 patients, which could help clinicians to identify patients with high risk of death at an early stage.

Clinical features and viral RNA shedding of imported and local cases with COVID-19 in Wenzhou, China.
Wenzhou had the highest number of confirmed novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) cases outside the Hubei province. The aim of this study was to identify the difference in clinical features and viral RNA shedding between the imported and local COVID-19 cases in Wenzhou. All patients with confirmed COVID-19 admitted to Wenzhou Sixth People's Hospital, Wenzhou Central Hospital Medical Group, from January 17 to February 11, 2020, were enrolled in this study. ⋯ The median duration of SARS-CoV-2 RNA shedding from symptom onset was 26 days (IQR 17-32.3 days) and there were no significant differences in duration of viral RNA shedding between the two groups. The study findings suggest that imported cases from Wuhan were more likely to be severe compared to the local cases in Wenzhou. However, there was no difference between imported and local cases on the viral shedding among the COVID patients.

The Ewing sarcoma family of malignant tumors is a group of tumors characterized by morphologically similar round-cell neoplasms and by the presence of a common chromosomal translocation; Ewing sarcoma family of tumors typically occur in children and young adults between 4 to 15 years of age. The primary tumor usually originates in the bone, extraskeletal localization is rare. ⋯ The treatment of sarcomas with atypical localizations should be conducted by an experienced multidisciplinary team in a center with experience in sarcoma treatment.
