Review Meta AnalysisThe effects of physical activity on pediatric eyes: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Examining the retina represents a non-invasive method to evaluate abnormalities pertaining to the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Evidence indicates that physical activity is a non-pharmacological intervention to enhance the nervous and cardiovascular systems. However, little is unknown about its effects on ocular characteristics in children and adolescents. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of physical activity interventions on ocular characteristics in children and adolescents. ⋯ Participating in chronic physical activity programs appear to impact children and adolescents' eye-related attributes positively.

Meta AnalysisPrediction models for children/adolescents with obesity/overweight: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
The incidence of obesity and overweight in children and adolescents is increasing worldwide and becomes a global health concern. This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of available prediction models in early identification of obesity and overweight in general children or adolescents and identify predictive factors for the models, thus provide a reference for subsequent development of risk prediction tools for obesity and overweight in children or adolescents. Related publications were obtained from several databases such as PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science from their inception to September 18th, 2022. ⋯ In conclusions, prediction models can be employed to predict obesity/overweight in children and adolescents. Most predictors are controllable factors and are associated with lifestyle. Therefore, the prediction model serves as an excellent tool to formulate effective strategies for combating obesity/overweight in pediatric patients.

ReviewSocial media use in HPV-, cervical cancer-, and cervical screening-related research: A scoping review.
In response to the World Health Organization's global call to eliminate cervical cancer, many countries have targets to implement human papillomavirus (HPV) primary screening. Social media may offer opportunities to promote uptake of HPV screening. We aimed to describe the extent of the scientific literature regarding social media research on HPV, cervical cancer and cervical screening. ⋯ Opportunities for research are identified such as further exploration of how newer social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok can be used to share HPV content, examination of appropriate images for effective communication, and determining key features of social media content to promote information sharing and improve cervical screening knowledge, attitudes and behaviours.

Adherence to a healthy sleep pattern and risk of urologic cancers: A large prospective cohort study.
A variety of unhealthy sleep behaviors have been shown to be associated with an increased risk of urologic cancers. However, little is known about the association between the overall sleep patterns and urologic cancers. To prospectively investigate the associations between a healthy sleep pattern and the risks of urologic cancers, including bladder cancer (BCa) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC). ⋯ Our results indicate that a healthy sleep pattern is associated with lower risks of urologic cancers.
